Hello, my name is Jeff Schaner. I want to thank you for checking out this website. I originally created my book, Why Be Good When You Can Be Great! 9 Keys to Happiness, Success, and the Life of Your Dreams, Today!, for my two daughters. I quickly realized that the more people that were in possession of this information, the better their life could become. I have committed to share this information and philosophy of living.

Over the years I have realized that making dreams reality is within everyone’s grasp. I have also realized that, for any multitude of reasons, there are far too many people not going after and living their dreams. My dream is simple… I want to help make peoples’ lives better. I truly believe that everyone’s life journey is unique and special. We all have gifts that the world needs. I have paid attention to what works and what doesn’t work in my own life and the life of others around me and around the world. Success leaves clues.

As a student of life, I have spent countless hours observing, studying, and most importantly living and learning. I have read over 300 books, including personal and corporate biographies, covering the areas of personal development, motivation, finances, selling, and negotiation.

Growing up in suburban Detroit, my dream was to play basketball in the NBA. Even though I did play varsity basketball in high school and had the opportunity to play Division III basketball in college, I opted to go to school to study business. My first big hoops dream was a big air ball. Fortunately, I pocketed the lessons learned in chasing my basketball dreams and carried them forward as I planned the next phase of my life.

In my personal life, I am a husband, father, son, brother, neighbor, and friend. My family, which consists of my wife and two daughters, is my personal power generator system. They give me a reason to get up and go out into the world every day and give my best.

In my professional life, I do my part to help keep the economy moving. I have worked for four companies as a professional salesperson. I have sold millions of dollars in products and services to thousands of individuals over these past 15 years and have received immense personal and financial rewards for my efforts. The business world has been good to me and my family. The business world has also offered countless lessons.

I have been able to create the life of my dreams for many years now. I humbly believe that I have figured “it” out and want to share what works with you. You already have all of the tools necessary to achieve the life of your dreams. You just need the keys that will unlock your true potential. Allow me to help you, help yourself!
